Terrians (rough draft)

 Environments play a role in your survival. You have many different terrian types. Each of which punishes the usage of medium, and heavy armor. Weapons also have benefits in certain terrains. This includes spells as well; magic has a bit of a difference in how it's effected. Spells can have damage debuffed, spell area debuffed, etc. Spells can have conditional debuffs as well, and at the same time have trade offs. A very mixed bag. Terrain type - weapon - armor - magic - punishment effects Flat land - none. Rocky  medium armor wearers suffer a -2 to physical check actions. Heavy armor suffers -3 to physical check actions. Ranged melee weapons +1 dmg modifier Water  Fire type magic - unable to land unless you roll a crit or mini crit. When in contact with oil will not need to crit to damage. medium -25% swim movement (round down) heavy -50% swim movement (round down) Cliffs - none (for now) Forest - heavy armor -2 to physical actions. Backgrounds (rough draft)

 These are where you're from for lines of work. These vary in benefits for advantages but work well overall for what they are.  Backgrounds; 1. Brawler; used to do some hand to hand fighting whether on the streets or even in bars. Effect - +1 dmg modifier to unarm attacks. +1 unarm mastery. 2. Magical bookworm; reading about magic, and doing some training here, and there gave you a better understanding but not a full grasp on such a time cost study. Effect - +1 LV 0 spell any class 3. 

Commoners (rough draft)

 Males Male commoners are less masculine than many other races but gained the ability to adapt better, and better at spreading their genetics. They very in many shapes, and sizes having a mix match of traits. Females Female commoners are less busty but many gained better adaptability, the ability to have kids across many other races. They're more adaptable as well. Movement rules (rough draft)

 Movement isn't that complex; movement speed is different from speed, imagine speed is your reflexes while movement speed is your overall distance you move in a short distance. Each movement action you take cost MoP (movement points), and outside of that will cost your PP next. Movement speed is your overall speed system. Land movement speed; your movement on land. Swimming movement speed; your movement speed in the water. Climbing movement speed; your movement speed climbing. Jump movement speed; your launch off and into the air. When dealing with a complex or moving environment you have to perform a roll + agility modifier. An example being jumping off a falling rock or rocks. When crits on complex movement you gain an additional movement bonus doubling the distance you can go. A high agility modifier allows you to slip through crowds in streets as well, blending in said environment. Falling; when falling every 10 ft you gain a D6 of damage from a fall; you have to roll an agilit...

Exhaustion System (rough draft)

 You have 3 exhaustion systems; Physical - from performing physical actions, all creatures have a threshold of 8, naturally over time your exhaustion is going to build up, this is caused by walking, running, etc. As well combat will cause exhaustion, the worse your condition is the less likely you are to stay standing. Once your threshold is exceeded you'll gain a -1 modifier to your actions, and once it's +3 over your total exhaustion you'll become unconscious, and or die if you're unlucky. You can luckily fight off exhaustion with your endurance score, and small short rest will remove your physical exhaustion by 1 for every hour you rest while long rest removes all exhaustion. Magical - your body can only perform so many spells before it'll give way, unless you're using a device to channel the magic through that's not your body you're going to experience the exhaustion at a normal rate, however the rate is halved if using a way to channel your magic ot...

The divine (rough draft)

 So you wanna be a priest huh? Alright! We got healers, nuns, white mages! However spirituality works different from magic. With magic you have a number of favors you can cast a day; you can expand those favors by having contracts with the gods. You see gods have other evil creatures / entities to deal with. Your goal is to fulfill the desire of your god. The more powerful the god, the more enemies the divine have, the less powerful the less enemies. That being said you're given a multitude of divine classes effectively. All divine good or evil have task or oaths you must complete. Some gods must be brought virgins for an example; this would be called a divine gift. The divine gift is given to the god, and if to their liking you gain a divine action you can perform! You see gods have limited roles they play, sure they can do other things but they're limited in scope for what they want / can get. Travel Encounters (Advice)

 Walking from place to place should have some form of excitement; I mean you're traveling from one path to another. That being mentioned; you don't have to go along with the usual encounter, you have a number of different ideas you could do to spice up the journey. You could run across a small NPC off the side path; maybe has a kitten stuck in a tree, something small, a small moment for the group. These mini quest, small moments can sometimes be fun, and really add some enjoyment between a boring walk to spice things up, and keep the players on their toes for what small encounter they might come across. Perhaps you're not a fan of small encounters; well you have other ideas still to go with. Ambush; maybe have an enemy encounter / ambush them; this way you're putting them in a situation where they must react, and make a choice. How leveling up works

 Leveling up works by ability buying; you use the money you have in order to buy moves to learn, buy abilities. You can mix and match classes; however the abilities are built within the class with the idea in mind that they're built to synergize together; this isn't to say you can't buy other class abilities but they'll require a different mindset  / playstyle. An example; fighters are built around understanding the battlefield, and your weapons; taking on 1V1 encounters. While Mages are built around thinking about the entire battle, less focus on the battlefield with flexible roles to fill from utility to crowd control. The abilities are design to play on the class strengths, and weaknesses. That being said it's also designed to allow the classes lack of synergy to be less broken; a priest fighter build is going to be underpowered compared to a pure priest, and a pure fighter build. However a priest mage is going to be a better combined choice. Classes built around...

Scal (rough draft)

 Scal Scaly skinned creatures that come from many different environments, and depending on the environment they're born in will be a different scal but in general keep some similar features to one another of consistent details such as scales. They're commonly with horns, wings, and a long tail. Males Male Scale are covered more in scales; more physical attributes for survival. They're more dragon-like to form, and the higher the testosterone the more dragon-like qualities. Females Covered less in scales, and more for appeal to attract mates with their physical bodies. They're the most human in form. Combat (rough draft)

 Lancing Blow - When armor class is equal to the check rolled against your AC type you take half of said damage type. Crit strike - when dealing damage the crit modifier is applied for the damage being a successful landing on said target. Said condition is met when rolling a natural 20. Damage Crit - when rolling the max possible damage on the roll the mini damage crit is applied for the multiplier. Luck crit - luck score is added to the Crits. Crit conditions - when x condition is met damage said crit effect from said condition is caused. Move strike - when you move you can perform a Slash attack and keep moving, allows you to stack actions into one performance. Combat check - All moves have a check rolled for them in combat. Combo - when successfully performing a physical action you can follow up, and use more action points to chain the combo, until the chain is broken by a failed roll; each combo counter is +1 and is applied to your action, you can chain off your combo with othe...

Gods and Godesses

 God's and goddesses battle each other, trying to gain more of the heavens and helps. As well keeping out the forgotten elder gods. God's, and goddesses will from time to time answer a prayer or two depending on who needs help. The divine prays seperate from spells. Divine pray a God imbues you with energy, don't mess it up because you have limited opportunities to properly act.
